About Us

Our Story

Most people love coffee.

They do not just drink it. They need it. They think about it when they wake up. They look forward to it in the middle of the day. They use it to start conversations, take a breath, reset, focus, and sometimes simply get through life.

And yet, for something we love that much, most of us treat it with surprisingly little care.

We grab whatever is on the supermarket shelf. Whatever is familiar. Whatever is on offer. Whatever we bought last time without really thinking. Then we go home, make a cup, drink it half-present, and repeat the same routine the next day.

Not because we do not care about coffee.

Because we have never really stopped to ask a better question.

If I take pleasure in a small daily habit, why ignore it?

Why not turn that daily moment into a remarkable one, the kind you look forward to, or look back on and think, that was a great cup of coffee.

Two cups a day, five minutes each, over the next 12 months, adds up to 3,650 minutes. More than 60 hours of your life. So why not make those moments feel better?

That idea sits at the heart of Daily Crema. It is what we stand for.

We started Daily Crema for people who genuinely love coffee, but do not want to turn it into a hobby, an identity, or a complicated ritual. People who are not trying to become coffee experts or spend a fortune every month on speciality coffee. People who simply want their daily coffee to feel better, fresher, richer, and more worth it. People who need reminding to slow down and take five minutes a day to enjoy a moment they already love.

Because the truth is, improving your coffee experience does not have to mean knowing everything there is to know about coffee, or spending lots of time and money on expensive equipment.

It just means caring a little more about something you already love.

And that is the point.

Why Sicily?

Because their culture aligns with our purpose.

In Sicily, coffee is not treated like an accessory. It is not an afterthought. It is not something rushed, forgotten, or taken for granted.

It matters.

They love a strong espresso. They respect the ritual. They rarely say no to a good coffee, not just because of the taste, but because of what that moment gives them. A pause. A conversation. A reason to stop whatever they are doing and be present for a minute.

And that is what spoke to us.

Because that is exactly how we believe coffee should live in people’s lives.

Not as background noise.
Not as fuel alone.
Not as something you throw down without thinking.

But as one of those simple daily pleasures that brings people back to themselves, and back to each other.

In Sicily, coffee has presence. It is part of welcoming someone in. Part of sitting down. Part of talking. Part of taking a breath before life moves again.

There is something powerful in that.

And if we were going to build something around coffee, it had to come from a place where coffee still means something.

That is why Sicily made sense to us.

Why Verzì?

First of all, taste.

Not coffee that is just fine.
Not coffee you drink and forget.

Coffee that leaves a mark.

The kind of coffee that, when you taste it, you remember it. Rich, balanced, full of character, and consistent enough that every bag meets the same expectation as the last. That mattered to us, because if we were going to build Daily Crema around better everyday coffee, the coffee itself had to deliver every single time.

Then there is the aroma.

The moment you open the cupboard, you can smell the beans.
The moment the coffee starts brewing, the room changes.

Before you even take the first sip, you already know this is going to be a proper coffee moment. That warm, roasted, fresh aroma is part of the experience, and Verzì does that beautifully.

Then comes the crema.

A proper crema gives espresso body, depth, and that satisfying finish that makes the whole cup feel complete. Not thin, not flat, not forgettable. Verzì’s blends are built to give you that richer, fuller espresso feeling at home.

But what really made us choose them goes beyond the cup.

Verzì is a Sicilian roastery, rooted in a place where coffee is still treated with respect. Their beans are carefully selected and blended from origins including Brazil, India, and Africa, then roasted using traditional Italian methods to bring out aroma, balance, and intensity. The result is coffee that feels expressive, full-bodied, and consistent. Not flashy. Not overcomplicated. Just properly made.

They also understand something important: great coffee has to stay great until it reaches you. Freshness, packaging, and consistency matter. Because even the best coffee can lose its magic if it is not protected properly. That is one more reason they felt right for us.

And finally, value.

We did not want a roaster that forced people to choose between quality and affordability. We wanted coffee that felt genuinely good, but still realistic enough to enjoy as part of everyday life. Verzì gave us that balance.

That is why Verzì.

At Daily Crema, we believe coffee deserves more than to be rushed, ignored, or forgotten.

It should be enjoyed.
It should be remembered.
